Chen Zhen
"Chen Zhen, Pat Steir, Entre chien et loup" (extrait)
puri e spirituali.

An industrial facility built by Gustave Eiffel and, after restructuring,
turned into a centre for art and cultural events (an international seminar
on
art/ architecture relations in the contemporary city was held here in May)
is currently hosting several exhibitions.
"La voie du sommeil" and "Le retour du fantôme de l'homme" are
two works by Chinese artist Chen Zhen, created during a recent period in Grenoble
(since coming to France in 1986 he has abandoned painting to devote his time
to sculpture). In his works Chen Zhen uses recycled objects, natural elements
and Chinese texts: the objects are isolated but always have some connection with
natural elements (sand, earth, water), nature being considered the most pure
and spiritual element in absolute terms.
